Still just 20, Seán started gigging in late 2010, with Dean Paul accompanying him on acoustic guitar.

Within a year of his first performance he had won a national competition to support Shed Seven, was awarded Unsigned Artist of The Week by Absolute Radio and supported acts such as The Delays, and The Men They Couldn’t Hang.

In 2012 Seán played his first festivals, making his début at Blissfields in July before playing up and down the UK all summer, highlights including opening the Strummer of Love Festival and playing to a huge crowd here at Bestival.

Seán’s second EP, The Peoples Music, was released in November to rave reviews from bloggers countrywide. In the same week one of Seán’s biggest influences, Billy Bragg, tipped Seán as One to Watch for 2013 in his John Peel lecture broadcast worldwide by the BBC. Two tracks from the EP have received airplay on BBC Radio 1, as well as being featured by BBC Introducing and many other radio stations around the country.

2013 sees Seán return to Bestival for what promises to be an even bigger show than his first as his reputation reaches true believe the hype, next big thing greatness.
