Eschewing the current trend for overnight success and then immediate decent into obscurity, Scottish chanteuse Nina Nesbitt, albeit still in her teens has taken her time to break out, depending on her obvious talent and a little luck with YouTube to score high profile support slots for the likes of Ed Sheeran and Example which have helped to raise her profile to where she genuinely deserves to be.

Add to that a couple of beguiling sessions for BBC Introducing and a packed out performance at last year’s T in the Park and 2013 looks destined to be Nina’s breakthrough year with an album in the works and raft of performances planned, we expect her to be at the top of her game come September and we expect her to stay there.
