Since 1996 Glasgow’s finest sons and daughters Belle and Sebastian have been filling the world with their special brand of joy, happiness, wit and charm from cult upstarts with a scarily devoted army of fans to darlings of the indie world, melding 60’s pop and modern folk-rock to lead singer Stuart Murdoch’s kitchen sink style of lyricism to create what can only be described as a precious jewel in the crown of British music.
